Revealing ALL My Investment Portfolios
A few weeks ago my net worth crossed over $300,000. Now, I am going to show you every single portfolio I have to make up that $300,000.
I have said this many times but the reason I am so open about my own finances is to hopefully inspire you to start your journey. Money is one of those subjects that is not talked about yet is necessary to talk about. It is a part of our every day lives, yet no one talks about it. Because of this, people are BAD with their money. ~60% of people in the US live paycheck to paycheck. That is BAD. It needs to change. So I write these newsletters to inspire you to start, keep going & most importantly: Win with your money.
But first, to keep this newsletter free.

A message from Masterworks…
Ultra-Wealthy Investors Fall in Love with This App (Here’s Why)
While financial markets tanked in 2022, one market saw its best performance in 277 years. The blue-chip art market – hauling in nearly $18 billion. Millionaires and billionaires love this market, but now you don’t need to be one to get access.
Masterworks is the fintech platform that lets you diversify your portfolio in this currently booming market. Their last three sales in 2022 handed investors 10.4%, 35.0%, and 13.9% net returns respectively.
After all, contemporary art prices outpaced the S&P 500 by 131% from 1995-2021 with a near 0 correlation to stocks according to Citi. Thanks to Masterworks, investing in art by Banksy, Picasso, and Basquiat is easier than using ChatGPT to automate your emails.

My current net worth:

Some of the numbers below will be rounded so the total may be off by a few thousand. I use Empower to track my net worth for free. Try it out free here: https://empowerreferral.link/kolin1
Savings:
I hold around $10,000 at all times in a savings account. It is better to have it & not need it, than need it & not have it.
M1 Finance Accounts:
I have 2 accounts on M1 Finance that I invest every week into.
$75 a week into my individual dividend stock portfolio, which you can see here: https://m1.finance/9rcu39dJV0xf
$250 a week into my ETF portfolio, which you can see here: https://m1.finance/f5S4Licf85VK
VOO:
I have an account that only holds VOO. It is valued around $110,000. With over 6-figures in VOO, I make around $1,800 a year in dividends + price appreciation.

Stock Options:
I sell options on a ~$50,000 account to generate anywhere between 0.5-2% a week in cash flow. Some of the stocks I like to sell options on are QQQ, TSLA, COIN, MARA, SHOP, UPST & a few others. This is higher risk than just buying & holding but I like to take the cash flow I make from this to buy more ETFs like SCHD. I actually added a new ETF to this portfolio to buy & hold: JEPQ. If you want to learn more about how to sell options like I do, I am giving 5 people from the newsletter a 20% discount on my video course. For just $40, you can learn how to makes $100s or even $1,000s a week selling options (discount code already applied): https://decadeinvestor.gumroad.com/l/rauxb/newsletter
Retirement Accounts:
I have a few retirement accounts due to old 401(k)s that I rolled over + IRAs that I have. I keep those super simple & buy VTSAX, VTIAX, VGT. I keep around 60-70% in VTSAX, then the rest of the money split evenly between VTIAX & VGT.
Crypto:
Based on my crypto portfolio, I basically am a Bitcoin maxi haha. About 95% of my crypto money is just buying & holding BTC. My goal is to accumulate at least 2+ BTC before the next bull run (which mayyyyyyy occur in 2024).
I have a few other non-investment assets, but I will keep that for another newsletter.
I keep my strategy super simple…
I literally am so boring with my investments (minus my options selling). I buy the same darn investments every week. I just buy buy buy buy buy buy until I can’t buy anymore. My goal is to accumulate as much as possible with my investments. I want to own the heck out of VOO, SCHD & other ETFs. My goal is $10,000 a month in dividend income. I am a far way from there for now, but over time, I will get there. One brick at a time.
My Buys This Week:
I read a tweet by a Twitter friend of mine who trades stocks. He said to always take profits & buy long term holds with it. So… that is what I am going to start doing. Notice the bump in SCHD buys!
ETFs: $250 in VOO + $505 in SCHD (I posted a tweet that said for every like I get, I will buy $1 of SCHD… I got 505 likes) + $100 in JEPQ +

Individual Stocks:

Tweet of the Week:
Mortgage rates topped 7% this week. Wild what rates were just 2 years ago & how much a monthly payment has changed on the purchase price.
Mortgage rates crossed over 7%.
A monthly payment on a $500,000 house in 2021: $1,911
A monthly payment on a $500,000 house in 2023: $3,327
~$1,400 more a month in payments for the same house. Crazy.
